Engine Performance & Specifications
New for this model year, the 2023 Corolla LE will replace its 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine with a larger 2.0-litre four-cylinder that delivers enhanced performance and efficiency. This engine will provide 169 horsepower instead of the 139 horsepower previously provided by the 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, considerably improving performance. However, it doesn't mean compromising fuel efficiency since the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine will achieve a fuel consumption of 7.6 L/100 km in the city and 5.9 L/100 km on the highway. Other notable changes for the 2023 Corolla include its hybrid variant getting more trim levels and an available all-wheel-drive system for enhanced all-weather traction.
