Job Description

Westminster Toyota is one of the fastest growing Toyota dealerships in British Columbia and is looking for a qualified Assistant Service Manager to join the team. We are passionate about our Toyota's and with our dedicated team, we are committed to ensuring our guests receive industry leading customer experience.

As the Assistant Service Manager, you will enjoy a competitive benefits package, and a performance based salary, allowing the right person to excel.

As the Assistant Service Manager you will:

  • Manage the shop loading and work flow to maximize technician efficiency, advisor sales and department profit
  • Through active management of route sheet, ensure Shop Proficiency remains above 125%
  • Be a key member of the service management team, creating an exceptional experience for our guests and a strong culture in our service department
  • Provide training to service advisors to ensure key customer service and sales metrics are being met
  • Coordinate internal work between service and sales department
  • Motivate, support and mentor the service team
  • Work closely with the service manager, service advisors, technicians and the parts department to ensure customer vehicles are fixed right first time, and promise times are met
  • Assist department in achieving Toyota Service Recommendation scores (TSR) in the top 10% in the Province and Canada
  • Problem solve on a daily basis to help meet the needs of our guests

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of service department experience
  • Demonstrate high levels of self-discipline
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with guests, service team members and other team members of the dealership
  • Driven individual with strong work ethic and a high desire to succeed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized, process oriented individual
  • Ability to multi-task to a high degree

Additional information

Availability for Saturdays is a requirement.
