Toyota App

As the hub centre of Toyota Connected Services, the Toyota app lets you access connectivity features to enhance your interaction with your Toyota and others while on the go. All you have to do is pair your new Toyota with a compatible smartphone device to begin enjoying many helpful features.

Service Connect

You can keep your Toyota maintained and in pristine condition with Service Connect, providing you with warning light notifications and vehicle health reports. Also, you can set your preferred dealer to receive support if an issue or a recall arises.

Remote Connect

With Remote Connect, you can use your smartphone to lock/unlock the doors, start/stop the engine, view the last parked location, check the status of windows, and access compatible EV features.

Apple CarPlay

You can connect your iPhone to your Toyota through Apple CarPlay to play music, navigate routes with Apple Maps, and use other helpful iPhone features. You can find wireless Apple CarPlay on specific Toyota models, eliminating the need for a wired connection.

Safety Connect

Whatever the road might bring your way, you can be ready in your new Toyota with Safety Connect. With this feature, you can quickly access emergency assistance (SOS) and enhanced roadside assistance, ensuring you remain safe and secure.

SiriusXM Radio

Regardless of your music or listening preferences, SiriusXM radio is the perfect feature to have inside your Toyota to enjoy entertainment ad-free. With SiriusXM, you can listen to music, news, sports, exclusive talks, and much more.

Digital Key

With the Toyota app installed on your smartphone and linked to your vehicle, you can use your phone as a digital key to enter your vehicle and start driving without taking your keys out of your pocket. It's also possible to share and manage access to the vehicle to make it easier to share with family or friends.

Drive Connect

Make trips easier with Drive Connect’s Cloud Navigation feature. It uses Google POI data to provide real-time traffic information, over-the-air updates, and more. The system functions alongside Intelligent Assist and is activated by saying “Hey Toyota.”

Destination Assist

Another feature under the Drive Connect umbrella, Destination Connect allows you to connect with a live agent 24/7 to track down details like hotel information, local points of interest, and more. The feature can be voice-activated with Intelligent Assist.

Connect Your New Toyota

Step 1

You will need to register your new Toyota vehicle through the Toyota Mobile App to take advantage of Connected Services.

  • Download the mobile app for iOS or Android. If you already have the application on your device, make sure it’s updated before you register the vehicle.
  • Next, click Register and fill out the required information or use your credentials to log in.
  • Add your vehicle details, including the VIN.

Step 2

Keep the app on your phone open and move to the multimedia screen to prepare the vehicle.

  • Select your preferred language.
  • The next screen can show you one of two options, depending on the vehicle: a QR Code or a space to add your phone number. Add the needed information and press continue.

Step 3

Go back to the app on your phone and either connect by QR code or the numeric code. Confirm the vehicle details next and add a nickname. Select Westminster Toyota as your Preferred Servicing Dealer and save the changes.

Step 4

You’ll be asked to create an account PIN. This six-digit code is different from the login password. You could be asked to enter this code on the multimedia screen for authentication.

Step 5

The next screen will provide details on your Connected Services trial. Select continue. Please note that selecting “no thanks” will waive connected services.

Step 6

The next screen will ask you to accept or decline a series of sections titled Connected Services Master Data Consent, Service Connect Communication, and In-App Marketing. While these aren’t required to benefit from Connected Services, they are recommended to enhance the ownership experience. Select Accept or Decline for each section and press Confirm and Continue, followed by Finish Setup.

Step 7

The app’s dashboard will appear on your device. Go back to the multimedia screen and select App Setup Finished.
