One of them comes under the hood, with the RAV4’s 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine. It generates an impressive 203 horsepower, which is just a bit more than the Rogue’s 1.5L inline 3-cylinder engine. 

Interior Space

Outside of the slightly more robust engine, the RAV4 is also more spacious. The Nissan Rogue really does feel “compact” as an SUV, where the RAV4 offers more generous passenger space both in the front and the rear. It also has a much more generous cargo volume, letting you load in a maximum of 1,064 L of stuff, as opposed to the Rogue’s much more limited 894 L of maximum cargo space.
